About the job
Directly reporting to the group manager, you will participate in various applied research and development (Ra&D) projects conducted within the "Watchmaking Engineering" competence group. You will work in collaboration with industrial partners in the region in the fields of research and validation of new manufacturing processes, analysis and optimization of watchmaking manufacturing processes, characterization of watch components, and development of tools to optimize watch functions. You will work closely with a skilled and interdisciplinary team of engineers in a stimulating work environment. You will also be involved in the operation of laboratories and support professors in their teaching tasks.
Your profile
You hold a HES diploma or an equivalent degree and have good knowledge in the design and development of microtechnical watchmaking systems, as well as mastery of their manufacturing processes. In particular, you have knowledge in watch design and manufacturing processes of components as well as in watch casing design. You master the characterization of watch components. You are capable of working autonomously and flexibly on a wide variety of tasks. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
