As part of the Business Unit Shared Services (SHS) of Hamilton Bonaduz AG, this area takes on central tasks for the Hamilton companies. Teams in HR, ICT, Corporate Communication, Facilities, and Finance ensure that processes run smoothly and employees worldwide are optimally supported.
This is what you can achieve:
Function as the central contact person for all safety and health issues in the company – in close exchange with internal departments as well as external partners, authorities, and specialist offices
Independent implementation of the EKAS Guideline 6508 including continuous monitoring, further development, and ensuring compliance
Independent consulting of managers and employees on all questions of occupational safety and health protection – your professional expertise is actively sought and included in decision-making processes
Comprehensive planning, coordination, and implementation of all health and safety-related activities – structured, proactive, and on schedule
Independent analysis of accident and incident statistics, root cause analysis, as well as development and implementation of effective preventive measures to sustainably strengthen the safety culture
Organization, execution, and follow-up of internal audits, inspections, and controls in the area of occupational safety – including derivation, prioritization, and tracking of improvement measures
Preparation of sound risk and hazard analyses for workplaces, equipment, and hazardous substances taking into account current legal, normative, and operational requirements
Continuous independent further development of the safety standard through systematic measures management with a clear focus on prevention and effectiveness
Maintenance, further development, and quality assurance of safety-relevant documentation – structured, comprehensible, and audit-proof
Monitoring the correct storage and handling of hazardous substances according to legal requirements
This is what you bring:
Completed vocational training in an industrial environment as well as further training in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS)
Professional examination as ASGS specialist with federal certificate or further training as EKAS safety engineer
Several years of professional experience as a safety officer (SiBe) in a complex industrial environment
Very independent, responsible, and structured way of working with high initiative and decision-making ability
Broad and solid expertise in occupational safety, health protection, prevention, as well as relevant legal and normative requirements
Strong leadership qualities as well as experience in leading employees or specialist functions
Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and strong implementation skills
Strengths in structured process analysis, safety-conscious thinking, and constructive collaboration with different stakeholders
Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
Confident and routine handling of MS Office
