About the job
Creation of technical documentation such as operating instructions and supplementary manuals taking into account legal, normative, and didactic framework conditions in an international environment
Independent development of documentation-relevant content in collaboration with various departments to ensure the quality and completeness of the documentation (research work)
Data and documentation maintenance of the coffee machine portfolio
Document creation according to the single-source principle for print and online output
Management and maintenance of content nodes in the editorial system in coordination with other editors
Translation management for more than 25 languages with an external translation service provider
Participation in the further development of the editorial system and documentation processes with the aim of continuously improving the quality of publications considering new standards
Active involvement in the transformation and migration of technical documentation and visual communication (including modularization, workflows) in other editorial teams
Participation in knowledge transfer in the application of the editorial system to the technical support team
Terminology work in the terminology team
PROFILE:
Degree in Technical Documentation or technical vocational training with further education in this field
Professional experience in technical documentation
Good theoretical knowledge of the methodology in technical documentation (functional design, information model)
Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and their implementation through standards
Solid knowledge of the editorial system Schema ST4
Very good knowledge: Microsoft Office
Good knowledge: Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience and knowledge in creating technical illustrations (graphic formats and their application)
Interest in coffee machines and working in a technical editorial team
Analytical, conscientious, and team-oriented working style
Confident and error-free written command of the English language, business fluent German in spoken and written form (English will be the documentation language in the future.)
Good knowledge of French/Spanish is an advantage
