What you will do
- Independent cooking (sole cook) including mise-en-place as well as preparation and cooking of all dishes in the hot and cold kitchen
- Preparation of ramen and other Asian specialties and additional products
- Independent organisation and planning of the daily routine including ordering and preparation of production for the following day
- Supervision of food distribution and participation in "front cooking" as well as operation of the cash register; barista skills are an advantage
- Proper acceptance, storage and documentation of goods, operating and cleaning materials

Your place of work
At the Gourmisan restaurant in the new federal administration centre at Guisanplatz 1 in Bern Wankdorf, our host team with around 17 employees spoils up to 550 guests daily. The attractive, varied and seasonally coordinated offer consists of 3 daily changing menus. Additionally, the gastronomy includes another cafeteria in an adjacent building with cold and hot snacks and a serviced representative room.
You work from Monday to Friday, each day between 07:30 and 14:30, depending on the duty roster. The operation is closed on public holidays and weekends.
