Head of Product Stewardship
Your tasks
- Active leadership, promotion, and further development of the Product Stewardship team in Switzerland as well as the global Product Stewardship team
- Creation and implementation of a strategy for the assessment and classification of mixtures according to country-specific legislation
- Ensuring global chemical compliance of Blaser Swisslube
- Creation and updating of product safety data sheets according to global regulations including updates in IT systems
- Assessment of existing and new raw materials regarding legal regulations, toxicology, and ecology
- Assessment and evaluation of products regarding compliance with legal regulations
- Review and documentation of whether raw materials are listed and usable in various registers (CAS) or inventories (USA, Canada, Europe, Asia)
- Technical support for substance registrations, substance notifications, etc. in cooperation with internal and external partners
- Compilation of safety-relevant and legally required information for labels, brochures, technical data sheets
- Handling inquiries from internal and external customers/plant doctors/authorities regarding product toxicology and composition
- Support of customers in HSE matters
- Monitoring the development of relevant laws
- Participation in the Technical Commission (TK) of the VSS
Your profile
- Education as a chemist Uni/HF
- Proven knowledge in the field of HSE, GHS
- Solid knowledge of chemical legislation and its implementation in global business environments
- Experience in team leadership
- Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
