The Primary Level Circle Worb, consisting of six school buildings and five kindergartens, includes locations in the towns of Worb Dorf, Enggistein, and Richigen.
The approximately 510 enrolled students are taught by 70 motivated teachers in well-coordinated teams across 5 kindergarten, 2 basic level, and 19 primary classes.
Since this school year, the Primary Level Circle Worb has been led by a 3-person school leadership team. The tasks and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Because one school leadership person has accepted a new professional challenge, we are looking for a replacement starting August 1, 2026.

Tasks
- School leadership tasks according to the Public School Act, LAG and LAV
- Ideally taking over both areas of activity in personal union (division possible)
- Personnel and professional leadership (regular teaching as well as MR area)
- Member of the Worb school leadership conference (7 members)
- Joint leadership responsibility for operational and pedagogical issues and school development
Requirements
- Completed school leadership training (or willingness to complete it)
- Experience as a school leader at a public school or leadership experience in a comparable institution is an advantage
- Familiarity with the Bernese school system and teaching experience at the primary level is required
- Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge in the MR area of the Canton of Bern for the MR sector
- Inspiring leadership personality: authentic, solution-oriented

- Confident handling of ICT
