The Foster Families Department is part of the Supplementary Educational Assistance area and is responsible for the implementation of the Child and Youth Home Act (KJG). Core tasks include the issuance of permits and supervision of all foster care relationships in the Canton of Zurich.

Your area of responsibility
- Responsible for the compensation and payroll administration (including social security contribution accounting) of foster parents
- Responsible for the preparation of service agreements with foster parents
- Administrative support in the department as well as ensuring smooth daily operations
- Ensuring the department's telephone availability, providing telephone information, triage
- General assistance tasks and support of the department management
- Deputizing within the team
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training (commercial clerk EFZ)
- Two years of professional experience in payroll administration
- Payroll specialist training is an advantage
- Good knowledge and experience in social security law and payroll
- Very good SAP knowledge is an advantage
- High IT affinity and proficient use of MS Office
- Independent and precise working style
- Strong social commitment to the concerns of children, adolescents, and their families.
