The General Vocational School Zurich is the competence center for the professions of gastronomy and hospitality. In addition, it is responsible for the basic education of various other professions and also offers courses in the continuing education sector. With around 2200 learners and over 100 teachers in 17 different professions, it is one of the larger vocational schools in the canton of Zurich.
Starting in the autumn semester 2026/27, a teaching position is to be filled. The employment is according to the regulations for secondary school and vocational school teachers as a lecturer.
Your tasks
- You teach the subject vocational studies at ABZH in the areas of EFZ, possibly also EBA.
- You actively participate in the development of joint teaching materials on Moodle.
- You support the subject group in developments within the scope of your workload.
Your profile
- open-minded, team-oriented, communicative and committed personality with high social skills
- independent, flexible working style with high initiative
- completed training as a vocational studies teacher in a part-time capacity or willingness to complete this medium-term
- professional certificate or similar in the field of meat specialist
