As Head of Sales Division Service, Member of the Executive Board, you bear global responsibility for the sales of our extensive service offerings. You lead international teams and ensure that we continuously win large, complex projects and service contracts – from full-service contracts to refits and spare parts business. A significant part of your work is the successful management of tenders and the maintenance of long-term customer relationships.
YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Strategic and operational management of sales for the Division Service worldwide, reporting directly to the EVP Division Service
- Team leadership: You lead, develop, and motivate several geographically distributed teams of 30 employees worldwide to achieve our ambitious sales targets
- Network maintenance: You develop and maintain long-term customer relationships with operators and clients
- Winning tenders: You manage national and international tenders in the rail transport sector and develop solutions to successfully acquire long-term service contracts, refits, repairs, and spare parts business
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Successfully completed studies in engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in sales, ideally in an industrial environment or in the after-sales area of complex technical systems
- Experience in handling large tenders as well as contract management of full-service and refit projects
- Proven success in acquisition and management of large projects
- Fluent language skills in German and English, additional languages are an advantage
- Strong communication and intercultural skills as well as a high willingness to travel (20-40%)
