The School of Design Zurich is a competence center for applied design with a catchment area beyond the cantonal borders. In the areas of design and communication, media and publication, as well as color and application, about 150 teachers educate around 1500 learners in basic education, 1000 participants in continuing education, and three classes of the preparatory design course.
Temporary employment as administrative secretary until 31.8.2028. Employment start immediately.
Your tasks
In this varied role, you take on central tasks in the area of internal and external communication of our school. In coordination with the school management, you manage the various digital communication channels and support the organization of public and internal events. You enjoy and are experienced in editorial and design work for print and online media. You contribute to project work. You work independently and ensure the administrative organization in the area of school communication.
Your profile
- Basic EFZ training in the design field (e.g., Mediamatics, Graphic, Interactive Media Design, Polygraphy)
- Enjoyment in writing and designing target group-oriented communication content
- Editorial sensitivity
- Experience in creating tailored social media content
- Confident handling of common social media channels (management, planning, etc.)
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics (e.g., AI tools, social media trends)
- Basic understanding of strategic communication and public relations
- Excellent oral and written German skills
- Precise, independent, and reliable working style
- Strong organizational skills
- Confident use of relevant Adobe programs
- Sense of responsibility and discretion in handling information
