Over the past fifteen years, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious start-up to the leading digital marketing agency in Switzerland. With our location in Cape Town, we are expanding our creative capacities to make processes even more precise, higher quality, and more efficient.
For this, we are looking for you: a Creative Operations Manager who acts as the right hand of our Head of Creation / Creative Director. You coordinate and support the creative leadership in Zurich – and are the central contact person and coordinator for creative projects across various areas: strategy, content, media, and client services.
Your tasks

Team planning & capacity management
Plan and coordinate internal and external resources in Zurich and Cape Town to ensure balanced workload and forward-looking planning. Continuously monitor capacities and coordinate with our Senior Partnership Manager so that freelancers join the team in time, even before the word "overload" appears in team updates. -
Project intake, prioritization & traffic management
Work together with the Head of Creation and Client Services to review, prioritize, and sensibly manage new projects. Assign clear responsibilities, set realistic schedules, and do not hesitate to say a productive "not now" or "no" when necessary. -
Workflow & team coordination
Manage projects through all phases: from strategy through concept and production to media – and ensure that handovers, timings, and results run as smoothly as possible. Your coordination ensures that collaboration remains true teamwork and does not become a guessing game. -
Briefings, quality assurance & process optimization
Work with Creative Strategy to translate campaign goals into truly actionable creative briefs. Monitor implementation and ensure that all results meet platform and brand standards. Continuously optimize workflows and strategically use smart tools so the team works better – not longer. -
Operational & financial support of creative leadership
Be the operational sparring partner for our Head of Creation: support planning, team focus, and daily business between Zurich and Cape Town. Keep an eye on capacities, working hours, and revenues and keep reporting up to date so that creative quality and economic goals are aligned.
What you bring

Experience in Creative Ops
2–4 years of professional experience in an agency or creative environment – e.g., in creative operations, traffic, or project management. -
Assertiveness with sensitivity
You have no problem questioning decisions or occasionally ruffling feathers – if it serves the project flow. -
Structured thinking
You think pragmatically, act solution-oriented, and bring clarity to complex situations. -
Independent working style
You work reliably, are organized, and keep an overview even with multiple open tasks. -
Open & forward-thinking
You enjoy improving things, questioning processes, and driving the team forward. -
Technology affinity
You naturally use smart tools and AI-based aids to simplify processes and better allocate resources. -
Language skills
You speak fluent English and German.
