Senior Physician

• You ensure the geriatric psychiatric care of patients in the inpatient area.
• You take over the senior medical management of the admission and emergency ward 60+ in dual leadership with the nursing ward management.
• You develop the ward conceptually together with the nursing ward management.
• You are directly responsible for the training of the assigned assistant psychologists and assistant physicians and supervise them.
• Within the framework of the liaison service, you have the opportunity for continuous cooperation with the surrounding nursing and retirement homes.
• You participate in the clinic-wide on-call service (two to three weeks per year).

• You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or a specialist in general internal medicine (preferably in training for the focus on geriatrics).
• You have a professional practice license from the canton of St. Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• You bring experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients or in internal medicine, geriatrics, or neurology.
• You are committed, appreciate working with patients, and enjoy working in a multiprofessional team.
• You are a flexible, team-oriented, communicative, socially competent personality with motivation for further development.
• You like to work independently, take responsibility, and make decisions confidently.
• You have very good German skills (at least C1).
