Our teams comprise sales traders, IT specialists, strategists, and quantitative analysts, all supported by comprehensive risk and control functions and the latest technology.
PTS is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Strategic Planning team. In this role, you will be at the heart of PTS’s activities, engaging with all aspects of the trading floor operations. You will also develop and maintain close relationships with professionals working on the trading floor.
Your role
- Responding to business analysis requests from various stakeholders across PTS and the Group.
- Participating in cross-departmental business and reporting analyses.
- Supporting the CFO and Strategic Planning Manager in conducting analyses for strategic projects.
- Managing and improving daily publications and reporting processes.
- Compiling and maintaining insightful reporting and analysis proactively.
- Developing and refining existing reporting tools and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Building and maintaining databases in SQL and reconciliation processes.
- Proactively challenging existing business practices by developing and maintaining end-user computing tools or applications (e.g. user interfaces, middle and front office tools, allocation tools, reporting interfaces) and collaborating closely with the business.
Your profile
- Proven experience of 2 to 5 years in business analysis, or a related role within the banking industry.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
- Excellent command of Excel, VBA, and SQL; knowledge of Python and JavaScript is a plus.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, demonstrating entrepreneurial flair.
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Able to perform effectively under stress.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Swiss resident or willingness to relocate.
