Logistics Specialist in an Exciting Role Logistics Specialist
Activities
- Responsible for timely and secure organization of customer deliveries in project business
- Coordination of inbound/outbound deliveries
- Organization of worldwide transports, including price and deadline clarification (Air, Sea, Train, Truck)
- Preparation of all shipping documents for international transports, import, export and cross-trade
- Creation and monitoring of letter of credit compliant documents as well as bank guarantees
- Ensuring tariff classification and origin calculations
- Invoicing of customer orders
- Maintaining various statistics and evaluations (freight costs, OTD, CO2 footprint)
- SCM interface between sales, forwarding, warehouse and purchasing
- Co-design of departmental processes and QM documentation
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Career changers with solid / proven experience in logistics
- Further training as a foreign trade specialist
- Several years of experience in export (import advantageous) in an international company
- Experience in tariff classification and origin calculations
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Confident communication in German, good English skills
- Business and networked thinking with a high sense of responsibility
- Solution-oriented, reliable and structured way of working
