The position is attached to the Department of Community and Primary Care Medicine (DMCPR). This department combines a societal mission aimed at enabling access to care for all and an academic mission aimed at providing pre- and post-graduate teaching and research in primary care medicine.
Due to the versatility of its skills, the Romand University Center of Forensic Medicine (CURML) has the mission to respond to all requests for expertise or advisory assistance in the medico-legal field, medical law, and doping analysis. Located in the Lake Geneva region, its field of competence operates at regional, national, and international levels.
Job Description
As head of clinic, you coordinate and develop post-mortem and clinical medico-legal diagnostic activities (CT scan, MRI, X-ray).
You also ensure a good interface with other units and sectors of the CURML as well as with medical radiology technicians.
You also carry out expert assessments on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office. You participate in hearings as an expert before the Public Prosecutor's Office and/or the Court.
You are also able to illustrate radiological reports with PowerPoint supports. You also actively participate in research activities within the CURML.
Qualifications
You hold the federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent and have obtained an FMH title in radiology. If your diploma and/or specialization comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
You have a Geneva cantonal practice license.
For non-French-speaking applicants, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
Possessing excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, and committed person. In addition, you have demonstrated strong adaptability skills.
