HR Advisor for the Women-Mother-Child Department
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) is looking for an HR advisor between 70-80% to complete its team. The desired start date is set for June 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) includes the Gynecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work within this department. We care for women throughout their lives in gynecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial aspects, as well as children from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You actively contribute to the development of departmental missions by providing your human resources management skills, in close collaboration with the existing team
- You support your contacts, employees, and managers in all HR processes, particularly in recruitment, integration, skills development, and all measures aimed at supporting the employee lifecycle within the institution
- You advise and support managers in leading their teams
- You monitor and analyze HR indicators and contribute to implementing measures in a continuous improvement dynamic
- You are a key player in change management within the framework of service and department strategic developments and projects
- You participate in HR administrative management activities and ensure good coordination within the team
- You ensure optimal communication and collaboration with all partners.
Profile
- You hold a federal specialist certificate in human resources or an equivalent qualification
- You have several years of experience as an HR generalist with a hands-on approach
- You show interest in the complex and evolving environment represented by the university setting
- You have strong initiative and the ability to intervene simultaneously on several fronts proactively in a demanding and dynamic environment
- Ideally, you have training in change management and support
- You master common IT tools and are comfortable with HR management tools (indicators and dashboards)
- You have an excellent level of oral and written expression
- You naturally build trust with all your professional partners through your professionalism, sense of responsibility, and well-developed interpersonal skills
- You are a good listener, open, and service-oriented person who appreciates teamwork.
Depending on your profile, the job description can be adapted and the salary class will be between levels 10 and 11.
