About the job

We are an open, innovative organization at three locations with a total of five socio-pedagogical residential groups for children and adolescents, embedded in two city districts of Zurich and in the municipality of Küsnacht am See.

Children and adolescents from kindergarten age up to the end of their initial education, from multiply burdened families with developmental difficulties in the school, social, and emotional areas, live in the residential groups.

The three institutions Dialogweg, Eichbühl, and Fennergut are managed as a single organization and belong to the Zurich Children's and Youth Homes Foundation.

For the professional and personnel management of one of the five residential groups, we are looking for a team leader 90% for the Fennergut location in Küsnacht starting June 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

You lead your team confidently and clearly through pedagogical as well as organizational processes and orient yourself according to the guidelines of the overall organization. As a team leader, you are part of the management team and actively help shape its further development.

In the residential group, you organize and accompany cooperation, team development, and case management together with your team. You use digital work tools competently and responsibly. The management team supports you in these demanding tasks.

You experience pedagogical work with children and adolescents as a professionally challenging and enriching task. You know how to use the strengths of your team purposefully and build sustainable cooperation with professionals and parents.

You bring with you:

• A diploma HF/FH in social pedagogy or social work, a university degree in social work, educational sciences, psychology, or curative education
• A CAS in leadership or the willingness to acquire one
• Professional competence in dealing with children and adolescents from challenging family systems
• Willingness to actively participate in the residential group
