The SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS are an independent public-law institution of the canton of Schaffhausen. More than 480 children and young people with physical and/or cognitive impairments, with speech, hearing, or other profound developmental disabilities are currently being educated and supported integratively in the regular schools of the canton or separately at four locations in the city of Schaffhausen. In addition to various therapy offerings, we run a school-complementary area with lunch service, day structure, and boarding school. Over 570 employees are committed in various functions at the SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS.

Area of responsibility:

• Maintenance and cleaning of buildings and facilities as well as operating the necessary equipment and machines
• Lawn and garden care
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance
• Operating building technology
• Ordering, inventory management, and use of consumables

We expect:

• Completed secondary or middle school
• Technical understanding and manual skills
• Enjoyment of working outdoors
• Robust health and physical resilience
