About the job
The Wildermeth Paediatric Clinic brings together the disciplines of paediatrics and paediatric surgery. It has its own interdisciplinary emergency service, an outpatient consultation, and 26 beds, including 6 dedicated to neonatology.
The paediatrics department provides extended care for hospitalised and outpatient patients. It offers a wide range of clinical services in general paediatrics, neonatology, and other paediatric subspecialties. The department is recognised as a postgraduate training institution of category B2 S1 P2 (2 years).
We are looking, from 1 February 2027 or by agreement, for a:
Consultant or Deputy Consultant in Paediatrics 60-100%
Your tasks – our position
- You take care of patients within an experienced team and participate in the on-call service of the consultants. For the deputy consultant position, additional support is provided
- You participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training of medical students and assistant doctors
- You assume additional organisational and administrative tasks
- You have the opportunity to collaborate within an already well-established paediatric practice
Your skills – our expectations
- You hold the specialist title in paediatrics and adolescent medicine or are about to obtain it. You have experience in clinical paediatrics, neonatology, and emergency medicine
- You appreciate interdisciplinary work and collaboration with specialists from other medical disciplines
- You are able to communicate in German and French and have excellent oral and written command of one of these two languages
