As the only pawnshop in the canton of Zurich, we support our customers from all over Switzerland during temporary liquidity shortages. If you bring joy and commitment to our service mandate within the framework of Zürcher Kantonalbank, we look forward to your application.

We are the "Pawnshop" team, consisting of four motivated employees. Our main tasks include operating the pawnshop at the Wiedikon location.

Your tasks

Advising customers by phone and at the counter, as well as handling all transactions in the pawnshop (loan contracts, billing, reminders, account statements, etc.)
Receiving and appraising all kinds of pawned items (jewelry, watches, diamonds)
Determining pledges and approving loans (within the scope of the competency regulations)
Supporting the preparation and execution of auctions as well as internal financial accounting
Preparing and checking monthly and annual financial statements, including monthly reporting and VAT submission
Supporting various administrative tasks within the organization of the pawnshop

Your profile

Completed commercial basic training
Strong customer and service mentality
Independent and precise work as well as a high quality awareness
Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent oral and written communication skills in German, good spoken English skills, additional languages are an advantage
