The Kantonsschule Wiedikon is a short- and long-term high school that offers various profiles as well as a specialized middle school. It is a larger school with around 1300 students and 200 teachers. The historic school complex, where the workplace for the advertised position is located, is situated in a quiet location on the Bühlhügel in the Zurich-Wiedikon district.
From August 10, 2026, or by arrangement, the position for a physics laboratory technician (for the operation of the physics workshop) is to be newly filled.
Your tasks
- Maintenance of the physics collection
- Preparation and provision of teaching materials and experiments according to the teachers' orders
- Procurement, inventory of teaching materials
- Specialist for materials, tools, technical processes, and applications
- Further development and documentation of experiments
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, automation technician, or laboratory technician specializing in physics or a similar qualification
- You enjoy working in a team, are careful, independent, and service-oriented
- Enjoy working with young people
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Good IT and English skills are an advantage
