Your Impact
- Help clients develop, enhance, and review financial risk models using advanced ML/AI technology to manage risk, assess market opportunities, and create business benefits.
- Analyze large datasets, identify risk factors, build prototypes, interpret results, and support clients in implementing recommendations to add business value.
- Identify innovative applications of machine learning techniques in financial risk management and implement prototype solutions as proposals to clients.
- Support banks of various categories to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Basel Framework, FINMA, and other regulatory frameworks).
- Communicate complex quantitative and analytics concepts clearly and concisely to key client stakeholders.
- Work on projects and exchange experiences with colleagues with different skillsets across different platforms.
Your Skill Set
- You hold an advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative topic, such as physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, machine learning, engineering or quantitative finance.
- Thorough understanding of statistics, probability and ML/AI techniques. Knowledge of quantitative finance and regulations.
- Strong programming knowledge in languages for data analysis and quantitative modeling (Python and/or R).
- Bring innovative solutions and fresh perspectives to a fast-paced environment. Able to read a technical paper, capture the main concepts and provide a proof-of-concept implementation.
- 5 years of previous working experience in the financial services sector from working in a consulting firm or financial institution
- Skilled in translating technical knowledge into insights that are easily digestible for leadership and non-technical project teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Excel as a team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Fluent in English and either French or German, capable of effectively communicating in a diverse team.
