Your future area of impact
You will advise the management and the departments of the central secretariat and draft legal clarifications. You will coach our union secretaries and legal advisors of the Unia regions in their legal cases. You will assess legal protection requests from our members. In legal disputes, you will represent the interests of our members or Unia in court. Legal training and a advice column are also part of your tasks.
What you bring
- Completed legal studies and a lawyer's license (or lawyer with extensive professional experience)
- Professional experience in legal advice and representation
- Very good knowledge of Swiss labor law (including collective labor law) as well as social security law, knowledge of migration and criminal law is desired
- High motivation to advocate for employees
- Independent and efficient working style
- Strong communication skills, responsible personality with a service mindset and team spirit
- Very good German skills (level C2) and good knowledge of the Italian language (level B2)
