The logistics team is responsible for the regular and proper collection of waste fractions such as household waste, paper, cardboard, green waste, and metal, ensuring that the waste materials are correctly forwarded. Our main tasks involve offering transport services primarily to our internal customers. We are responsible for the scheduling of employees and waste collection as well as transport vehicles.
 
We are looking for a new team member starting February 1, 2026, or by agreement.

• About 2/3 of your working time you will load the waste collection vehicles with household waste, paper, cardboard, or green waste.
• During drivers' absences, you will independently drive a waste collection vehicle on various routes and in this role are responsible for the load and the safety of the loaders.
• You will also perform tasks in other areas (e.g., waste collection center or street cleaning) of the civil engineering office. Weekend deployments are possible, and you will also be part of the winter service team.

• You must have a category C driving license.
• Your flexibility between loading and driving waste collection vehicles is important. The spontaneous switch between these two roles should not be a problem for you.
• You communicate openly and honestly and are also willing to work on weekends. 

• Regular working hours with assignments mostly within the municipality of the city of Thun.
