Company Description
The Official Youth Foundation (FOJ) aims to promote the psycho-social development of children, adolescents, and young people in difficulty, in collaboration with parents and partner institutions. Bound by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is committed to the protection and defense of the interests of the child.
Serving the families of the canton, it works through four main areas of action: child assistance , emergency reception , family support , and preparation for autonomy .
To fulfill its mission, the institution manages 47 structures spread across the Canton of Geneva, has more than 500 places for minors and young adults, and also offers outpatient educational services at home. The FOJ is composed of 670 employees.
To successfully carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for a certified educator for the Aubépine Home , which accommodates 4 young people aged 12 to 18 with significant psychiatric issues day and night and ensures care follow-up by offering adapted therapeutic and educational services.
Job Description
Support and assistance with the multidisciplinary team for beneficiaries living in the home.
Support for parenting.
Close collaboration with placement services and families.
Irregular working hours (nights and weekends).
Start date: November 1, 2025.
Work rate: 80%.
Contract type: Permanent contract.
Grade: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva.

Qualifications
- Bachelor profile in social work - University of Applied Sciences of Social Work (HETS).
- Certified social educator profile - Higher School (ES).
- University bachelor profile - FAPSE degree with one year of full-time professional practice in boarding school or IGE.
Foreign diplomas: SEFRI recognition or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position with adolescents with special educational needs.
Strong knowledge of the Swiss and Geneva socio-educational, pedagogical, and therapeutic network.
Experience in crisis management.
Willingness to work with adolescents suffering from severe mental disorders.
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary manner while maintaining the specificities and role inherent to the function.
Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly.
Autonomy and team spirit, initiative.
Perfect oral and written command of the French language.
Driving license required.
