The Service Technician Retrofit is the central showcase, the business card, representing Belimed Life Science on site with the customer in all technical matters. Especially with modernizations and upgrades to extend the lifecycle of Life Science systems. Good, confident appearance, high technical competence, and experience are the skills that stand for the good reputation in the Life Science systems market. The Service Technician thus makes a decisive contribution to the company's success.
Main tasks:
Implementation of system changes, system modifications, software adjustments, updates, and change control according to GMP guidelines
Execution of documented acceptance tests after a retrofit (SAT) at the customer
Accompanying a FAT at the factory with the customer and project manager
Conducting briefings and training at the customer
Performing and advising the customer with a "Wellness Check"
Your profile
Technical training in the field of electrical engineering is mandatory
Several years of experience in service, assembly, commissioning, and qualification in plant engineering
Good knowledge of GMP guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical construction, commissioning, and testing of systems
Can read and understand technical drawings, electrical schematics
Precise and independent working
Troubleshooting and diagnostics on installed Life Science systems during the retrofit
Organizational skills
Good Microsoft skills and PLC knowledge
German spoken and written – negotiation level
Customer-oriented and competent, representative appearance
Resilience and high problem-solving competence
Team player, assertive, service-oriented, and communicative doer
Used to working independently
Open and good interaction with customers
Driver's license class B
High willingness to travel. Approx. 80-100% with overnight stays
