The Department of Partners and Institutional Engagement is looking for a personality as Account Manager Foundations 80% starting February 1, 2026 or by arrangement.
What you can achieve
- You manage a portfolio of foundations primarily in the German-speaking part of Switzerland within a team and ensure the financing of projects domestically and in the International Cooperation of the Swiss Red Cross
- You acquire and maintain relationships with foundations, ensure applications and reporting, and further develop collaboration
- You participate in cross-team and cross-department projects, also take on organizing events or editing applications, and work closely with the Corporate Foundations team and the Corporates team
What you bring
- A degree in marketing, business administration, fundraising, or social sciences, or a comparable education
- At least 3 to 5 years proven experience in fundraising with foundations or public authorities in an international context or in communications
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to present strategies and projects convincingly both orally and in writing
- Experience in development cooperation and/or the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is an advantage
- Convincing appearance with strong customer orientation and high communication skills
- Participation in the introduction of Salesforce and digitalization in the department
- Good editorial skills and experience in using databases
- Careful working style with a high quality standard
- Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours
- Fluent German (C2), good French (B1-B2), and good English (B2+) spoken and written
