Wood Construction Technician (M/F/D - 100%)

Your mission:

Within the acquisition / studies department (4-5 people), you will play a key role in the technical and economic preparation of offers.

Your goal: to transform project plans and ideas into solid, precise, and coherent offers, in close collaboration with management, engineers, and production.

We are primarily looking for a motivated person eager to learn; internal support will facilitate the onboarding process.

Your responsibilities:

• Carry out preliminary wood and derived quantity surveys from architect and engineer plans
• Identify critical points, variants, or constructive optimizations
• Write technical annexes specific to offers: description of services, construction methods, logistics, lifting equipment, site conditions, etc.
• Contribute to the formatting of tender documents (public and private)
• Initiate and follow up on requests for offers from subcontractors (lifting, locksmithing, painting, waterproofing...)
• Compare, analyze, and negotiate received offers, in collaboration with department management
• Actively participate in the overall technical and economic coherence of each proposal

Your profile:

• Training in wood construction (ES technician, HES engineer, or CFC carpenter with experience in a technical office)
• Good understanding of wood construction systems and interfaces with other materials
• Comfortable with reading plans and technical synthesis
• Proficient with tools: Autocad, Cadwork, Excel, Office
• Curiosity, rigor, organizational skills, and team spirit
• Analytical mindset and ability to technically justify your choices
• Experience in a wood company or engineering office is an asset
