Introduction
The city of Adliswil is a dynamic city with a high quality of life that has grown rapidly in recent years. With customer-friendly services, the administration is there for around 20,000 residents. For the Building Department, we are looking for aBuilding Inspector 90 - 100 %
starting April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.These are your tasks
In this versatile position, you take responsibility for building inspections and approvals within the framework of the building law procedure. You coordinate and approve construction site installations and take care of the administration of building permit fees as well as the processing of building applications. Another focus is fire police consulting: you review building applications from a fire protection perspective, issue the corresponding permits, and carry out fire police inspections and approvals.
What we expect from you
For this demanding task, you bring several years of experience in a similar role and a completed apprenticeship in structural or civil engineering. You have solid knowledge of the building permit procedure and fire protection as well as a fluent oral and written expression. You work independently, efficiently, and precisely and have good ICT skills. Your interaction with customers remains respectful and calm even in critical moments. A category B driving license completes your profile.
