Your team
Your new team is a group of motivated, collaborative, and innovative Engineers. Working on-site, hybrid, or fully remote, they come together to create and evolve a well-loved product but always keep room for new ideas and approaches. Outside of work, they’re parents, gamers, bookworms, adrenaline junkies, and so much more.
Your mission
As a member of our still small enabling QA team, you'll empower our stream-aligned teams to ship high-quality software fast for our well-beloved brand management platform. You'll achieve this by providing a test infrastructure and supporting the product teams as needed, utilizing your analytical thinking and QA expertise to coach the other teams.
- You care about our automated tests in Playwright and Cypress. You work on keeping them stable and meaningful. You care about organizing them well in code and know how to do so (SOLID principles, Page object pattern, etc.).
- You work with our CI/CD setup using GitHub Actions, Slack, ClickUp, Linear integrations, and automation tools like make.com or Tray.io.
- You solve complex test scenarios. If necessary, you dive into React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related frameworks to understand the unit under test and solve difficult test scenarios.
- You measure and report on the impact of your enabling initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and giving teams clear visibility into quality metrics.
- You coach stream-aligned teams on adopting effective QA strategies, tools, and practices to boost product quality and delivery speed.
- You conduct assessments of current testing processes, spot gaps, and collaborate on tailored improvement plans.
- You deliver targeted training sessions, workshops, or pair-programming sessions to upskill developers and testers in test automation, TDD/BDD, and more.
- You can work remotely within Switzerland. Of course, you're very welcome to our St. Gallen main office or our co-working space in Zurich.
- You have 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, ideally in SaaS, with deep expertise in automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), performance/load testing, security testing, and shift-left in agile environments.
- You're an analytical powerhouse who identifies bottlenecks in team processes and recommends effective solutions to drive quality forward.
- You bring strong coaching and facilitation skills: teaching via workshops, mentoring without authority, and communicating clearly to build trust in our teams.
- You're technically versatile—comfortable with SaaS architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), diverse stacks (React, TypeScript, JS), and SDLC/STLC, plus tracking quality KPIs.
- You're a collaborative, empathetic team player who's proactive and passionate about product quality, always opting for code-first solutions and continuous improvement.
- You speak English fluently.
