Your Contribution
- Underwriting and managing sureties and guarantees in the construction and commercial surety sector (e.g. bid, performance, advance payment, and warranty bonds)
- Conducting technical risk assessments and credit analyses of clients (SMEs and corporates), including evaluation of industry, project, and counterparty risks
- Making well-founded acceptance decisions, setting underwriting limits, conditions, and collateral
- Ongoing portfolio management: monitoring, recognizing early warning signals, controlling exposure, and deriving measures
- Close collaboration with sales, broker partners, claims, and the Center of Competence to enable fast and high-quality decisions
- Preparation of contract and guarantee documents as well as clear, comprehensible documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Compliance with internal guidelines and regulations (including KYC, sanctions) and active participation in the further development of processes and digital tools
Your Skills and Talents
Your Skills and Talents
- Commercial basic training with several years of professional experience
- Experience with trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, bonds & guarantees, shipping documents, and security instruments is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of financial analysis (annual financial statements, cash flow, capital structure) and strong risk understanding
- Confident German; English and/or Italian skills are an advantage. French would be a plus
- Confident use of common office tools; experience with PowerBI and AI agents is an advantage
- Independent, precise working style, high service orientation, and enjoyment of working in a team and with clients as well as broker partners
