To complement the pathology team in Allschwil, we are looking for a competent and proactive person as a Dipl. Biomedical Analyst HF or Laboratory Technician EFZ Biology Field Histology 60 - 100%.
- In our state-of-the-art histology laboratory, you will work in a team of around 30 employees on the entire process of preparing histological tissue samples, thereby making an important contribution to ensuring that patients, medical practices, and hospitals across Switzerland receive precise diagnoses in the shortest possible time for a rapid therapy decision.
- You will independently process macroscopic preparations from minor surgery and assist in the macroscopic examination of large preparations.
- You will record the tissue samples, including patient data registration using an ICT system, pour out the paraffin-embedded tissue, and cut paraffin blocks on all types of microtomes, including making frozen section preparations using the rapid section method.
- You will accompany the pathology specialists to external rapid sections.
- Your diverse tasks also include performing routine and multiple special staining procedures as well as preparing all solutions used.
- Completed training as a Dipl. Biomedical Analyst HF, Laboratory Technician EFZ Biology, MPA, or comparable.
- Experience in histopathology is an advantage.
- Very good German language skills.
