Your Tasks
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Process Engineering department (total 27 employees)
- Ensure that the processes and methods for producing the defined fabric range meet market needs (quality, costs, legal requirements)
- Ensure that the raw materials used in production meet production requirements (quality, costs, legal requirements)
- Ensure raw material supply in case of supplier failure
- Support for production (yarn, weaving, and finishing)
- Support for adjacent units (offering, quality management, finance)
- Support for suppliers (yarn, chemicals, and contract manufacturers)
- Develop and implement product innovation in production in collaboration with the industrial segments
- Define and develop processes for the production and testing of fabrics
- Increase the efficiency of production processes to improve quality and yield
- Regular screening of manufacturing technologies (equipment/processes/competitors) and raw materials in the market
Requirements
- Basic textile technical training is a great advantage
- Higher technical education (at least at HF or FH level)
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Several years of experience leading larger teams and departments
- Experience in an international production company is a great advantage
- Fluent German and very good English skills, spoken and written
- Experienced and skilled use of MS Office and additional program knowledge is an advantage
- Structured and independent working style
- Analytical approach with a qualitative standard
