The Hotel Frohe Aussicht is more than just a hotel: it is a place where guests and employees feel comfortable and welcome. With its 14 charming rooms and a restaurant known for warm hospitality, delightful cuisine, and personal care, the hotel creates special experiences amidst the beautiful nature of the Appenzell region.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated service staff / chef de rang (60–80%) from June (or by arrangement).

Your tasks
• You attend to our guests in a friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm manner.
• You independently and reliably manage your own service station.
• You ensure a smooth service process and work closely with the kitchen and team.
• You competently advise our guests on food and beverages.
• You maintain cleanliness, order, and a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant.
• You help ensure that our guests feel completely comfortable and welcome.

• Experience in service is an advantage.
• Independent, reliable, and well-groomed working style.
• Team spirit, flexibility, and resilience – even when it gets busier.
• Friendly demeanor, good manners, and a sincere host’s heart.
• Good knowledge of German; additional languages are an advantage.
