Technical Sales Consultant in Field Service (m/f/d) 100%

The company Backer ELC is a subsidiary of the Swedish NIBE Group, which employs over 18,000 people worldwide. We employ around 50 people at our location in Teufenthal. For over ninety years, we have been developing, producing, and selling highly compact round and flat heating elements for industrial and commercial applications. This long-standing experience is the basis for customer-specific complete solutions in the areas of heating, measuring, controlling.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial-minded personality for deployment in Western Switzerland and parts of the Canton of Bern as

• Support and advice for existing customers
• Active new customer acquisition in the assigned sales area
• Technical design and presentation of our electrical heating and control systems on site
• Preparation of customer offers up to complete order processing
• Market observation and identification of new potentials
• Coordination and handling of sales projects with group products
• Participation in trade fairs and specialist events
• Collaboration with the internal sales department

• Completed basic training in the electrical engineering field (e.g. electrician, electrical engineer, mechatronics technician)
• Experience in field sales, preferably in a technical or industrial environment
• Fluent German, negotiation-level French, and English skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, confident appearance, and pleasant manners
• Independent and structured working style as well as high flexibility
