For our Geneva office, we are looking for a Modern Desktop Engineer Expert

The Desktop Engineer Expert delivers, manages, and maintains VDI and Citrix Workspace solutions.

• Education in IT (HES diploma, CFC, BTS) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Previous experience in a service company is mandatory
• Fluent French, very good English
• Dynamic, flexible, autonomous, enjoying teamwork

Technical expertise in:

• Operating systems
• Standard and business applications (MS Office, VDI, Citrix, ERP, ...)
• Image and application creation and management solutions (VMware VDI, Citrix, WDS, ...)
• Remote Desktop solutions
• Virtualization
• Backups
• Infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, File print, ...)
• Mail clients

Knowledge in:

• Network and security
• SAN, NAS storage, ...
• Hyperconvergence
• Data Protection
• Cloud

Main missions

• Migrate, integrate and/or design solutions based on VMware VDI and Citrix technologies
• Participate in the development of solutions meeting client needs using standard design methods
• Implement solutions respecting technical specifications, costs, and deadlines proposed to the client
• Coordinate, report, and follow up on project tasks with stakeholders
• Establish specifications and necessary steps for delivering a solution
• Conduct risk and impact analyses, considering changes for end users
• Document implemented solutions and transfer support to operational teams
• Ensure follow-up of level 2 and 3 problems & incidents assigned to them

Workplace: Vessy/Geneva (with travel in French-speaking Switzerland)
