We have successfully expanded our presence in Europe over the last 8 years with locations in the DACH region in Basel (Switzerland), Böblingen, and Penzberg (Germany) and are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager (m/f/d) – Technical Building Equipment (80–100%) for our office in Böblingen (Greater Stuttgart area).
As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the Electrical discipline within demanding pharmaceutical projects. You will oversee the electrical project work through all planning phases up to the execution phase/construction & commissioning and handover to the client. You will be the central contact person for all electrical matters, coordinate internal and external interfaces, and ensure that costs, deadlines, and quality are met.
Job Description
- Electrical Discipline Responsibility: Management, coordination, and execution of electrical trades (e.g., medium voltage, low-voltage switchgear, generator, UPS, lighting, blinds, lightning protection, grounding and equipotential bonding, sub-distributions, UKV, fire alarm systems, gas detection systems, evacuation and alarm systems, emergency lighting, smoke extraction, fire control, access control, video surveillance, burglary and hold-up alarm systems).
- Project Work in All Phases: Responsibility for electrical planning from the concept phase through basic design and detailed design to the construction & commissioning phase.
- Negotiations & Interfaces: Independent negotiations with authorities, clients, architects as well as coordination with specialist planners, suppliers, and contractors.
- Team Leadership in the Electrical Department: Technical leadership, promotion, and support of electrical planners within the project team.
- Tenders & Bidding: Preparation of tender documents (high and low voltage) and support of the awarding processes.
- Cost & Schedule Control: Preparation of initial cost estimates, cost assessments, calculations, and monitoring of costs, schedules, and quality in the electrical department.
- Technical Documentation: Preparation and maintenance of technical documents for electrical, telematics, and security systems.
- Acceptance: Organization and support of expert inspections and acceptance of electrical systems.

Qualifications
- Completed studies as an electrical engineer FH/BSc, electrical technician HF, federally certified electrical installer, or comparable qualification.
- At least 15 years of professional experience in the DACH region, including at least 5 years in the same company and at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry – with a focus on electrical planning, ideally with project management or leadership experience in TGA.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, independent and goal-oriented working style.
- Confident appearance and convincing communication to motivate and successfully lead project participants.
- Very good spatial imagination, planning, and organizational skills.
- Very good knowledge of modern software tools; experience with MS Office, Messerli, Revit, or similar programs.
- German language skills at level C1, very good English (B2), French is an advantage.
- High willingness to travel within Europe.
