Main Tasks
- Planning, co-designing, conducting, and leading on-site inspections at insurance companies
- Regular interaction with the C-level of the supervised institutions
- Close cooperation with internal specialists, cross-functional units, and other organizational units of FINMA
- Documentation of results; in-depth clarification of supervisory-relevant regulatory violations as well as oral and written reporting
- Active participation in shaping and further developing our work processes and tools
Profile
- University/University of Applied Sciences degree, e.g., in business administration
- At least 5 years of professional experience at a primary insurer or a bank with insight into risk management and/or insurance technology or at an audit firm, ideally further training as a certified public accountant, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Quick comprehension and strong analytical skills
- Empathetic, communicative, and team-oriented personality with a convincing presence, negotiation skills, high judgment ability, and a touch of humor
- Excellent German or French skills (C2) as well as good knowledge (B2) of the other language and English (at least B2)
