Intern Library
Do you want to help shape and further develop the offerings of a dynamic library? Do you enjoy customer contact and want to advise the people of Zug? Are you interested in the mediation of digital and physical media and like to organize events? Then we are looking for you at the Zug Library, a modern city and cantonal library with a media collection of around 120,000 media items!
From August/September 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed person as

Tasks
- You support customer service and contribute to a smooth process
- You advise and support customers
- You mediate the physical and digital media offerings of the library
- You work in media processing and in the Zug collection and documentation
- You support the library in communication, social media, and marketing
- You assist with events, training, and tours
Expectations
- High school diploma or completed vocational training with vocational baccalaureate or alternatively you are already a student in Information Science (BA, MAS)
- Interest in further development of the library's offerings
- Interest in people, media, knowledge transfer, and digital technologies
- Creativity, service orientation, and good communication skills
- An upbeat, team-oriented, and flexible personality
