Your Tasks

• As plant operator: Ensure the proper operation of the flue gas cleaning system, the internal wastewater treatment plant, as well as the combustion and boiler system, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure optimal use of plant capacities, compliance with emission values, and high energy efficiency
• As shift supervisor: Lead and support the shift team (2 employees), ensure proper operation, monitoring, and maintenance of all plant components as well as optimal electricity and district heating production, conduct inspection rounds, prepare operational reports, enforce accident and malfunction prevention regulations through proactive work preparation. 
• As maintenance staff in day service: Assist with preventive maintenance and servicing of mechanical and building services systems of the KVA and district heating, as well as annual overhauls of the two incineration lines

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a mechanic or electrician or equivalent, further training as a heating plant operator is an advantage
• Several years of relevant experience, especially in the water-steam cycle
• High willingness for irregular shift work and also short-term flexibility in time
• Good physical condition, calm and focused working style even under hectic conditions
• Team orientation, helpfulness, and networked, solution-oriented thinking
