WD comtec AG is a specialized total and general contractor in the telecommunications environment and operates state-of-the-art fiber optic and HFC networks. In this exciting and dynamic environment, we are looking for reinforcement for our construction team immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

Independent splicing work in the fiber optic backbone network
Splicing work in FTTH rollout (POP, sleeves, BEP, OTO)
Measurement and testing work in fiber optic technology
Assistance with network construction work (support cable pulling/blowing)
Support with in-house work (OTO sockets)

Must haves

Experienced handling of fiber optic cables
Confident handling of splicing and measuring devices
Reliability and punctuality
Driver's license category B
Motivation and personal responsibility
Fluent German in spoken and written form

Nice to have

Experience in troubleshooting
HFC/CATV knowledge
Network construction and civil engineering knowledge
Willingness for night work and on-call duty
Completed vocational training as a network electrician EFZ telecommunications or related professions
