The St. Elisabethen retirement and nursing home, uniquely located in the Hirzbrunnen district, is a Basel foundation founded in 1903. We offer 73 residents with varying care needs across 5 departments a continuous support system and the opportunity to spend their later years in a family-like environment.

Due to retirement, we are looking to complement our activation team immediately or by arrangement with a:

Activation Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Identify, maintain, and activate the abilities of the residents, as well as professionally carrying out everyday activities and activation tailored to their needs. Organize in-house events and conduct excursions. Create seasonal decorations in the house together with the residents. Maintain and keep the activation documentation up to date. Develop and implement the daily life and activation concept. Plan, control, and continuously optimize workflows and working methods in care and daily activities. Interdisciplinary collaboration with all departments. Participate in projects and the development of operational goals.

Your profile:

You have completed training as an activation specialist and have gained professional experience in long-term care. You are an independent, reliable, team-oriented person with high social competence and are motivated to approach tasks enthusiastically. You have a strong sense of quality and responsibility and enjoy sharing your expertise and skills within the team. You have good oral and written German skills and experience with electronic care documentation as well as good PC user skills.
