Your area of responsibility
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the export team (approx. 6-8 employees)
- Responsibility for personnel planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance and absence management
- Deputy and support for the head of logistics department
- Ensuring correct, timely and legally compliant export and customs processing (Switzerland → EU and third countries)
- Assuming the function as authorized exporter (AE) according to customs authorization or willingness to take on this role; central contact person for customs authorities
- Ensuring optimal scheduling, resource and capacity planning as well as high delivery reliability
- Overall responsibility for packaging, provision, disposition, customs clearance and international distribution
- Cost center responsibility including budget planning, cost control and profitability analyses

What you bring
- Completed commercial or logistics basic training in Switzerland (e.g. commercial clerk EFZ, freight forwarding clerk) or comparable qualification with relevant further training (e.g. export specialist, customs declarant)
- Sound expertise in Swiss export and customs matters
- Several years of leadership experience in a comparable role in export, customs or logistics environment
- Very good ERP knowledge, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AX
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong hands-on mentality with a strong operational understanding
- High sense of responsibility, especially in the sensitive customs and compliance environment
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German skills, good English skills and French skills are an advantage
- Valid forklift license according to SUVA guidelines is an advantage
- Driver's license category B
