As a lawyer, you report directly to the department secretary and take on a variety of tasks. You handle all relevant legal issues that arise at a higher level or in the operational daily business of the department and its areas, especially city greenery. In doing so, you work in exchange with the department secretary, the legal specialists in the areas, other departments, the legal consultant, external lawyers, as well as members of the management and specialist staff of the areas. The position starts on March 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Your Tasks

Advice and support of the department management and the areas in legal matters, e.g., in administrative, contract, liability, procedural law, data protection, etc.

Monitoring legal proceedings and drafting legal documents (appeals and complaints) as well as decisions on reassessments

Reviewing contracts, regulations, and directives

Participation in the development or revision of ordinances

Your Profile

University degree in law, bar admission advantageous

In-depth knowledge in the areas of public law and contract law

Several years of professional experience, preferably in public administration or a complex organization

Reliable, independent personality who can network well

Enjoyment of comprehensive issues and interdisciplinary collaboration in a political environment
