At the top of Chrischonaberg in the beautiful nature, the Diakonissen-Mutterhaus St. Chrischona operates the St. Chrischona nursing home as well as the WOHNPARK St. Chrischona, established in 2022, with the restaurant „Mandelzweig“. The home of the deaconesses is also located on the premises, along with a small hotel and seminar operation.
For the nursing home and the restaurant, our team is looking for a
Deputy Kitchen Manager (m/f) 90-100%

What it’s about:
- Cooking creative, seasonal, and varied menus
- Addressing individual dietary changes for the health and well-being of our clientele.
- Representing the kitchen management in their absence.
- Leading the kitchen team together with the kitchen management.
- Participating in the preparation of high-quality meals from the breakfast buffet to organizing aperitifs and events.
- Implementing and further developing hygiene regulations (HACCP).
What is required:
- A completed professional training as a cook EFZ, preferably with the additional qualification of diet cook or equivalent training.
- Preferably professional experience both in gastronomy and in a home or hospital.
- Ideally, some leadership experience
- Independent and precise working style
- Strong service orientation
- Very good German skills (C1) and good PC skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
