About the job
Your tasks- •Process Monitoring & Control: Operate and adjust, or set up, automated equipment and machinery parameters within customer specifications. Set up DCM, Die Change. Technical supervisor of the machine operators in his machine group.
- •Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance, identify faults, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
- •Quality Control & Compliance: Test product samples, ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) and industry regulations, and maintain accurate production logs.
- •Optimization: Analyze data to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance yield. Responsible for performance, OEE, and quality of his machine group.
- •Collaboration & Training: Work with engineers and production staff to implement new processes or products. Close collaboration and training with the entire production team and interface departments such as Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, and Quality Management. Define training needs for employee qualification in collaboration with the foundry manager/shift supervisors.
- •Other duties as assigned.
Your profile
- •Technical training or experience in the technical field (foundry mechanic, electrician, mechanic) preferred.
- •3 years of experience in a HPDC or manufacturing environment.
- •Relevant knowledge in die casting, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation (ABB), basic programming skills for Siemens control systems, experience with linked systems.
