Job description
The Department of Criminal Law wishes to complete its team by hiring a competent and enterprising person to participate in its teaching and research activities, while writing a doctoral thesis.The position offered is mainly linked to the teaching of Special Criminal Law I and II, and legal writing. The job description will be completed by another teaching (probably juvenile law).
The job description includes the following tasks:
- support and supervise teaching (support for students, preparation of course materials, correction of assignments);
- participate in the scientific activities of the department (conferences, internal seminars, assistance to the teacher's research);
- write a doctoral thesis.
Title and required skills
Candidates must have obtained a master's degree in law from a Swiss university and intend to write a doctoral thesis in criminal law or criminal procedure.At least passive mastery of German is a condition of employment.
A certain level of computer skills is required.
A lawyer's license or professional experience in the legal field is an asset.

Additional information
The candidate will be hired on a two-year contract which may be renewed for two successive periods, respectively two years and one year. The maximum duration of the assistant position is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period during which the employment relationship may be terminated subject to a three-month notice period for the end of a month.Application files including:
