Janitor / Caretaker School Facility

The political municipality of Diepoldsau employs – excluding the teaching staff – around 170 employees in various professions and positions in administration, maintenance service, technical operations, student daycare, and the Rheinauen center.

Due to an internal job change, we are looking for a self-reliant person starting March 1 or by arrangement

Janitor / Caretaker (100%)

This interesting and versatile position is well suited for a service-oriented, committed, and reliable person. Your workplace is the Kirchenfeld school facility, but you are also willing to assist at other municipal facilities.

• Care, cleaning, and maintenance of the school facility
• Operation, repairs, and maintenance of building technical systems
• Supervision of outdoor facilities and grounds
• Garden and surrounding area work
• Winter service

• Support during events at the school and in the multipurpose hall

• Completed training as a specialist in facility maintenance or in a craft-related field
• Further training as a janitor/caretaker with a federal certificate of competence is desirable or willingness to complete the training
• Professional experience in janitorial work or craftsmanship is mandatory
• Technical and manual skills
• Customer and quality awareness
• Precise and independent work as well as a friendly demeanor
• Flexibility regarding working hours
• Willingness to work during events (evenings/weekends)
• Assistance with school events
