On behalf of our client, a recognised player in the pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for an Accountant to strengthen their Finance department.

Accountant (M/F)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance and closing of accounts as well as routine accounting entries.
• Guarantee the reliability of accounts and financial reporting.
• Manage the accounting follow-up of investments, provisions and tax declarations.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and analyse variances.
• Participate in the optimisation of accounting processes and the preparation of audits.
• Collaborate with the Finance teams and supervise a junior accountant.

Profile

• Higher education in accounting, ideally complemented by a Federal Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in SAP and very good knowledge of Excel.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, notably Swiss GAAP MANDATORY
• Experience in reporting and financial analysis.
• Professional proficiency in English or German.
