The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. To strengthen our Facility Management, we are immediately looking for a committed personality as:
Facility Management Specialist / Building Management 80%
Tasks
- Planning and execution of maintenance intervals: inspecting, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting and analysis of infrastructural systems
- Deploying specialist and service personnel according to the service contract as well as in emergencies according to the on-call manual
- Support in the maintenance and servicing of building technical systems as well as participation and accompaniment in integral tests (e.g. fire protection doors)
- Supervision and monitoring of external service providers as well as coordination of service deployments
- Maintenance and management of outdoor facilities including winter service as well as operation of machines and equipment for building maintenance (e.g. forklift, pallet truck, municipal vehicles, lawn mowers, cleaning machines)
- Implementation of secondary disposal as well as processing of disposal goods
- Service-oriented support at conferences and events (provision, setup, accompaniment)
- Organization and management of the workshop, material warehouse and workplaces including material orders
- Updating maintenance documentation and filing according to applicable regulations and standards
Profile
- Completed technical or craft training (EFZ)
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years)
- Willingness to continue education with the goal of obtaining the federal specialist certificate in the area of Facility Management / Building Maintenance / Upkeep
- Manual dexterity, physical resilience and enjoyment of practical work
- Independent, reliable and committed personality with willingness to learn and team spirit
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented demeanor
- Willingness for on-call duty
- Driver's license category B
